The right agent for you

Choosing the right agent is the most important factor in the sale of your property. Whether you’re looking to buy or sell a new house, townhouse, second home or apartment, your agent must be someone you can trust and with whom you feel comfortable. After all you are entrusting them with the sale of, potentially, your greatest asset. You can trust Glynis Austin and her team to provide you with the service, experience and advice you need (and deserve) to make the most of your next real estate transaction.

Valuing your property

A market valuation of your property will give you a good starting point for any decisions you make about selling your house.

Suggestions for a successful sale:

  1. Clean and detail the property (repaint if necessary).
  2. Be willing to spend a few dollars sprucing up the property – it will increase its saleability, and more than likely, increase the sale price.
  3. Consider using a Property Stylist - they can improve the appeal of your property by enhancing the key features of its appearance.
  4. Obtain a building and pest inspection report. This highlights what repair work needs to be done prior to sale. A 100% clear report can be used as a selling feature for buyers.
  5. If you have recently undertaken major building works, obtain all certificates of compliance from the Local Council.
  6. It is advisable to have a survey of the land and buildings available if required when selling a property.
  7. If there is a current lease, check the expiry date and termination requirements and advise your solicitor.
